Qualified Bookkeeper

Lalage Beaumont is a growing luxury fashion and accessories brand with boutiques in Knightsbridge and Burlington Arcade London, online sales, and wholesales sales to the Gulf region. We are currently looking for a freelance experienced bookkeeper for one or two days per week, generally working remotely. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience as a qualified bookkeeper, who pays great attention to categorising and attributing invoices correctly and is able to communicate effectively with the team. Role & Responsibilities: • General bookkeeping using Xero on a weekly basis • Reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card accounts, FX accounts, Cash Register, Shopify payments and credit card payments • Completion of quarterly VAT returns • Quarterly Management Accounts • Updating a Cash Flow App on a monthly basis, using actual data from current sales and invoices to update forward projections and budgets Essential Skills: • AATQB qualified • 3 or more years’ experience working as a qualified bookkeeper • Expert knowledge and experience using Xero • Familiar with Dext • Ideally familiar with Shopify • Excellent attention to detail • Able to communicate with inhouse team and external FD
