Home Equity Options LLC is a Los Angeles is a Los Angeles, California-based real estate company specializing in the Acquisitions and Sales of Vacant Land properties. We are a high-volume transaction company that focuses on buying for cash and reselling properties for cash.
We need a Junior accountant who will be working on payroll and bookkeeping. Part of your daily tasks are;
– Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
– Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
– Update accounts payable and performs reconciliations
– Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
– Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc.
– Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
– Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
– Assist with other accounting projects
What You Bring to the Role
– At least 2 years of Bookkeeping/Accounting/Payroll experience
– Experience in using Quickbooks
– Excellent organizing abilities
– Great attention to detail
– Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
– Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
– Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
– BSc/Ba in accounting, finance, or relevant field
Engagement Type: Long-term (10hrs/week to start and could potentially increase based on performance)
