***Recruiting on behalf of a client, this is a freelance position. Looking for an individual or company who will operate under the company name. We are looking for someone UK based.

About the Business:

Provides small businesses with a comprehensive range of services: bookkeeping, management accounts, financial consulting, payroll services, VAT registration and filing, company registration and filing. The companies goal is to always ensure that their clients feel in safe hands.

Not a typical accountancy firm! They use the highest level of technology, work completely remotely from around the world, and there are no set hours- as long as your work gets done and you attend meetings, we are happy. This is a family run business that is starting to grow at scale so they’re looking for an extra pair of hands. The role is outlined below, but as any start-up, your job will not only be limited to this. As the Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for the following:

• Consolidate payroll data from various sources

• Submission of payroll data to external service providers

• Review calculations & work with provider on any necessary adjustments

• Generate gross to net, & net pay reports

• Arrange net payments to associates

• Discharge any other payroll associated liabilities (taxes, social contributions, insurances, pensions)

• Maintain relevant Country payroll knowledge

• Review, code & upload invoices for approval / payment

• Build & maintain strong working relationships with KBP (ie.HR, Finance, Stock Admin, Tax, Internal audit)

• Handle questions from employees regarding payroll.

• Ad hoc duties and special projects as requested by management.

· Educated to degree level preferably in Accounting and Finance or any relevant experience in the Accounting field

· Experience in Xero or Quickbooks Accounting Software an essential

· With at least 5 years’ work experience in the accounting field

· High level of computer literacy, especially excel

· Ability to work independently

ABOUT THIS POSITION

· We work a normal work week of 40 hours, but in a flexible model where you can choose your hours yourself.

· Preferably within the South-East Asian time-zones, but not a necessity.

· You must have your own computer with microphone and webcam, and access to a reliable internet source.
