Update Database Weekly & Customer Support
We have a business which has two legacy products where users pay a monthly subscription for updates.The products are TALEX GPS speed camera detectors (see talex.co.uk) and we must manually update the databases for each one regularly.
We must also help Customers when they need assistance with the devices.
In general the role is expected to take ~6-7 hours/week and consists of:
• Update the database weekly on TALEX 2 and TALEX 3 (3 – 4 hours);
• Repair faulty units – involves unscrewing the units replacing screens, boards or resetting the unit;
• Replace SIM cards as Customers contact us with non connecting units. The unit needs to be sent in to us by the Customer and we change the APN settings and supply the new SIM card;
• Respond to emails from Customers – Direct Debit issues, refund requests, Customers notifying us of database changes/errors etc.
• Ship any accessories (new magnets or leads) orders to the Customers;
• Generally help and service Customers as needed.
• Report on what has been done on an agreed date and time each week.
Ideally we are looking for someone in the UK (which is where our Customers are) because of the need to have TALEX units shipped in and sent back etc.
This would suit someone extremely reliable and diligent who is detail oriented.
Ongoing contract @ £100/week.
