Temporary Marketing Assistant

Duration: Temporary for 2-3 Weeks (Potential for Extension)
Location: UK (Remote). Specifically, not someone using a VPN and pretending to be in the UK.

Responsibilities:
Drafting Copy and Creating Marketing Collateral for Social Media Posts: The temporary marketing assistant will be responsible for crafting engaging copy and creating visual content for various social media platforms. This includes selecting and adapting images from our library of resources and writing copy.

Managing Social Media Accounts via Sprout Social: Using Sprout Social, the candidate will schedule and publish social media posts across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging. They will also monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to comments and messages as needed.

Creating a Basic Marketing Plan: Liaising with Branches to establish their Marketing for Events and Activities and pulling it together into a simple calendar of events . The assistant will collaborate with different branches to develop a cohesive marketing plan for upcoming events and activities. This involves communicating effectively with branch representatives to understand their needs and goals and then devising strategies to promote events through various marketing channels.

Requirements:
Location and Availability: Candidates must be based in the UK and available to work on-site for the duration of the assignment. Availability to start immediately is preferred.

Language Proficiency: Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to convey ideas clearly and creatively in written form is essential.

Familiarity with Sprout Social: Experience using Sprout Social or similar social media management tools is highly desirable. The candidate should be proficient in scheduling posts, monitoring analytics, and engaging with audiences through these platforms.

Marketing Background: A broad understanding of marketing principles and strategies is required. Previous experience in drafting copy for social media or creating marketing collateral would be advantageous.
Team Collaboration: The candidate should be able to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently when necessary. Strong interpersonal skills are important for liaising with branch representatives and other team members.
