Position: Business Development Representative
Role Summary:
As a Business Development Representative at Shearwater Recruitment – An Isle of Man based, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and establishing lasting partnerships with care homes and medical facilities across the industry. Your primary responsibility will be to initiate outbound cold calls, promoting our staffing solutions, and identifying potential clients in need of staffing support. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and a deep understanding of the care home and medical industry.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Conduct thorough research to identify and qualify potential leads within the care home and medical industry. Utilize various tools and databases to gather relevant contact information.
Cold Calling: Initiate outbound cold calls to approximately 50 leads per day. Clearly communicate Shearwater Recruitment’s value proposition, services, and benefits to prospective clients.
Client Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, HR personnel, and facility administrators in the care home and medical sector. Understand their staffing needs and challenges to tailor our solutions accordingly.
Sales Pitching: Deliver persuasive and compelling sales pitches to showcase the advantages of Shearwater Recruitment’s services, addressing the unique requirements of each prospective client.
Lead Nurturing: Maintain a well-organized CRM system to track leads, follow up on interactions, and schedule further communications with potential clients.
Market Research: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to adapt sales strategies and stay ahead in the care home and medical staffing industry.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align efforts, share insights, and support business growth initiatives.
Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly targets for lead generation, call volume, and conversion rates.
Requirements:
Proven experience in B2B cold calling and sales, ideally within the care home or medical industry.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a persuasive and confident demeanor.
Knowledge of care home and medical facility operations, staffing requirements, and industry regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Strong research skills to identify potential leads and gather relevant information.
Familiarity with CRM software and the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for achieving targets and driving business growth.
