– Online Research: Conduct thorough research on potential venues, festivals, or industry contacts, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support the artist’s career growth.
– Data Entry: Input and organize important information such as contacts, contracts, or financial records, ensuring accuracy and maintaining a well-structured database.
– Online Promotion: Identify opportunities for online exposure and submit the artist’s music or art to relevant platforms, expanding their reach and fan base.
– Content Creation: Edit and format documents, including artist bios or press releases, ensuring high-quality and engaging content that effectively represents the artist’s brand.
– Fan Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to fan inquiries, manage fan mailing lists, and organize fan giveaways, fostering a strong connection with the artist’s supporters.
– Event Coordination: Assist in coordinating logistics, managing guest lists, and liaising with vendors for events or concerts, ensuring successful and memorable experiences for attendees.
– Market Research: Analyze industry trends, identify target audiences, and evaluate competitors, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
– Artist Outreach: Reach out to potential collaborators, venues, or media outlets for partnership or exposure opportunities, establishing and maintaining beneficial relationships.
– Financial Management: Support basic bookkeeping tasks, track expenses, and assist with invoicing, ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments.
– Project Management: Organize and track progress on multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed of key updates.
– Database Management: Maintain an up-to-date contact database for industry professionals, artists, or collaborators, facilitating effective communication and networking.
– File Organization: Manage and organize digital files, including music tracks, promotional images, or artwork, ensuring easy accessibility and efficient workflow.
– Newsletter Management: Create and distribute regular updates to fans or industry contacts, keeping them informed about the artist’s latest activities and releases.
– Song Registration: Register songs on platforms such as PRS, PPL, and Songtrust, ensuring proper protection and royalty collection.
– Contracts and Agreements: Draft agreements using provided templates, send them to appropriate contacts, and follow up to ensure timely execution.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role within the music or art industry.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to maintain professional correspondence and engage with stakeholders.
– Proficiency in social media platforms and online promotional tools.
– High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document editing.
– Familiarity with music or art industry practices and trends.
– Proficient computer skills and familiarity with relevant software, tools, and platforms.
– Ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with other team members
The fee/budget/rate for this role is negotiable and will be determined based on the scope and amount of work required. Shall be reviewed and paid on a monthly basis.
