ATECH Garage Equipment Services. We service, calibrate, repair and sell garage equipment to garages across the UK. We are a small family business run by Husband and Wife team James and Heather.
James is predominately field based, serving our customers at their garages. James also creates and sends all our customer invoices as well as does any parts ordering.
Heather currently manages our accounts doing the tasks listed below as well as working on business growth and development.
We are on the look out for someone to fill the role of freelance Accounts Manager on a part time ongoing basis (1-2 days per week – to be discussed) with the potential (if both parties are happy to) take on a part time employed position and over time as the business grows this may offered as a full time position.
Part of your role will include:
– general book keeping; receipts filing, matching bank payments, reconciliation, preparing vat returns etc
– preparing cash flow statements to assist with forecasting and budgeting
– credit control; issuing statements, managing customer accounts, chasing payments via email and phone call (we use a virtual landline system, which you will be given access to to make and receive calls from), taking payments using
– monthly reporting; PnL, AR, AP, Cashflow
Whilst we have systems and processes for all of the above we are still a relatively new business with limited knowledge and experience in these area and therefore we’d like to work together with you to streamline these process to work in a more cost and time efficient way and so we would appreciate your help with, advising us and setting up these processes together so everything flows as best it can.
You will be someone who is:

– willing to expand and grow your own knowledge
Whilst skillset and experience is important, personality is more so. Skills can be learnt and therefore the most important factor for us is that you are able to work well with us in a friendly, positive manner and are willing to progress yourself in your own skills and abilites through consistency and dedication. Where we can aid with that then we will.
